About Treehog

Treehog is one of the brands belonging to Flexion Global Ltd, and is directly linked with Arbortec Forestwear. The company saw the need for a range of chainsaw protective and arborist equipment that met a certain price point, but didn't compromise quality. From that vision, the Treehog collection has developed quickly to include a broad offering of safety equipment for climbing, rigging and chainsaw protection, with new product sectors being continuously developed.

It is a family owned company with two brothers at the helm, who have a very clear mission and vision for the group. Three generations of the family are currently involved in the business. 

History of Arbortec

Arbortec - Formed in 1990, the Arbortec Forestwear brand provided a breakthrough in comfortable and innovative chainsaw footwear, and has grown to become the leading name in the arboriculture and forestry professions, both in the UK and globally.

Steady growth followed, and in 2010 the company went through a succession phase, moving into the second generation of ownership.

At this time the brand was refreshed and the new management team brought to the table a vision and direction based on experience and training from the outdoor pursuits sector.

Location

The head office is based in Kings Lynn, UK, which is the home of the main innovation centre. The company works with many arboriculture and forest associations around the world and attends many of the largest trade events in the industry.

The HQ includes warehousing where the products are stocked, an innovation centre and a chainsaw clothing test facility. The group marketing, sales, customer service and finance activities are also headed up here. In addition the group has a clothing manufacturing plant in EU which is wholly owned and operated by Flexion Global.
